I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for being here, for reading this and for being curious about Flura. This isn’t just a candle brand, it’s a story, a journey, and now, it’s one we hope you’ll be part of.
It All Started with One Sleepless Night
For 18 years, I’ve worked as a product designer in the beauty and home industry, creating things that people love to bring into their spaces. But Flura didn’t come from a boardroom or a brainstorm. It came from something much more personal, my daughter.
My daughter is autistic, and like many children on the spectrum, she experiences intense anxiety especially at night. As a parent, watching her struggle to sleep, to feel safe, to find calm, it was heartbreaking. I wanted to help her in a way that felt gentle, natural, and loving.
So I started experimenting. Blending essential oils, creating bedtime rituals, lighting candles and slowly, I saw a shift. The scents, the softness and routine helped.
That’s when the idea for Flura was born.
Officially Launched in May 2025
After many months of learning, testing, and dreaming, we officially launched Flura in May 2025, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
Flura is more than just a collection of luxury candles, it’s a way to bring calm, comfort, and connection into your everyday life. Whether you're winding down after a long day or creating a moment of stillness, we hope our candles become part of your ritual.

We’re not here to just make your home smell nice (though we promise, it will). Flura is about creating aromatherapy candles that support your emotional wellbeing, just like they did for my daughter.

This isn’t just my story. My brother Ben is the co-founder of Flura, and he’s been by my side from the very beginning. With nearly two decades of experience helping start-ups grow, Ben brought the structure, strategy, and heart that helped turn this dream into something real.
